The British
Friends of Reuth were delighted to receive a cheque for £1048.43 from Wolfson
Hillel Primary school. This money was raised from a day of fundraising and
community volunteer activities to mark both Mitzvah Day in Children in Need.
The children raised a total of £3145.29 and the money was split between 3
charities, Children in Need, The Anti- Bullying Alliance and The British
Friends of Reuth.
On Monday 8th
February, Yehuda Aaronson, Director of Operations, Reuth Israel, presented a
certificate to the Head Boy Benjamin Morganstein and Head
Girl- Abi Broido (also on the student council) for the money they have raised.
“It was such an honour to be able to speak at the school
assembly and to explain the children what their money will be used for. Many of
the children already have a connection with the British Friends of Reuth, as
they have participated in our annual great sunflower competition.” Commented Yehuda Aaronson, Director of Overseas
Development, Reuth.
